The Revd Stella Bailey is to become the next Archdeacon of the Gwent Valleys and Diocese Director of Mission for the Diocese of Monmouth in the Church in Wales.
It is with mixed emotions we announce that Stella has been appointed to a new role in the Church in Wales.
Her last Sunday in the parish will be at Pentecost on 5th June. Join us to make sure she goes as we celebrate the Queens Jubilee with a Family BBQ and bring and share after the morning services on 5th June.
Please pray for Stella and Karen as they prepare to leave us and for the Leadership team, PCC and Church Wardens as they put into place all the requirements to help lead the church, as a new Vicar is appointed.
You are welcome to join Stella at Newport Cathedral on 19th June at 4pm as she is Installed as an Archdeacon. Alternatively, we will be live streaming the service in St Nicholas Church, why not join others in prayer, worship and fellowship.
