We are reliant on your generosity to do the work of the church.
During this difficult time when our church buildings are closed, we are still a church; meeting virtually for prayer services and fellowship, loving our neighbours by offering practical support to the vulnerable, and caring for our communities. The work of our church is reliant on people’s generosity, a generosity that is a hallmark of a lived-out faith and a testament to it.
How to give?
Whilst the church is closed we are not receiving income through our normal streams of hall rental, fund raising activities and general giving. If you feel able to support us please click on the button below. which will direct you to an online giving platform. You can input the amount you wish to give and if you pay tax on your income please fill out the gift aid declaration that will enable us to enhance your gift by claiming back off the government the tax you have already paid.
Regular Giving
Community Members and Friends of St Nicholas and St Barnabas Church are encouraged to give a regular financial gift to our church. This is vital to our sustainability. Even a small regular gift to us, can make a big difference.
We ask you to do this by setting up a Direct Debit through the Parish Giving Scheme, who manage our donations for us. The easiest way to do this is with a simple phone call.
How to sign up to the Parish Giving Scheme
Phone 0333 002 1271 (open weekdays, 9 am – 5 pm). An administrator will take you through the sign up process – this normally takes around 15 minutes.
You will need to have the following information to hand:
- Personal bank account details
- The name of the church you wish to donate to, which is St Nicholas Kenilworth
- The PGS code for St Nicholas and St Barnabas which is 1106 11051
You will be asked to confirm if:
- You want to increase your gift in line with inflation each year
- You are eligible for Gift Aid
What happens next?
You will receive written confirmation (by email or post) of your Direct Debit, including the amount of your gift and the date of your first donation. If at any time you need to change your donation, just ring the team on 0333 002 1260 or email info@parishgiving.org.uk.
