St Nicholas Parochial Hall is a fantastic location on High Street that we make available to the community for hire. It features a large communal space, fully equipped large kitchen and separate servery with toilet facilities to the front and back of the building.
The Hall is available for hire by the hour and can seat up to 120 people at tables for dinner or lunch or 150 people in theatre style. Due to the close proximity of the hall to neighbouring houses, we would recommend that you make an enquiry for the suitability of your event in the planning stage. Hire includes use of the kitchenette and garden, but not the large kitchen – which requires a supplementary payment.
Kitchenette
Use of kitchenette is included free of charge for those hiring the hall. The kitchenette has a water boiler, fridge, microwave, sink, mugs, kettle, teacups and saucers, and small tea plates.
Large Kitchen
Use of the large kitchen requires a one-off surcharge between £25.00- £50.00. The large kitchen is a fully equipped commercial kitchen and has plenty of crockery, wineglasses, cutlery, glasses, fridge/freezer, water boiler, dishwasher etc.
– £25 additional fee if using anything except cooker.
-£50 additional fee if booking main kitchen and using cooker also, the commercial cooker – which is for use by commercial caters only.
Note:
- There is no stage in the hall and no stage lighting bars to attach any lighting. Loading in is by the front doors on double yellow lines.
- Parking for guests is in the Abbey Fields car park by St Nicholas Church.
