Family Praise – Church for all shoe sizes
Once a month we gather as a community to worship together, everyone is welcome, come on your own, with your family or with friends. Family Praise is a place to belong to,as part of God’s big family.
Family Praise is a relaxed, short service, which is different every time. We sometimes, have prayer stations, we sometimes listen to a very short talk, there is sometimes a dramatised version of a Bible reading, sometimes there is a quiz, sometimes there are contemporary worship songs and sometimes there are hymns.
Family Praise is at St. Nicholas Church, Abbey Fields, Kenilworth, CV8 1LY, on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 10 am.
Café Sunday
Café Sunday is church for people who can’t sit still.
It’s a very lively gathering where children and families are particularly welcome. We worship together as all ages and all stages and learn from each other. It’s a little bit noisy, sometimes chaotic, sometimes messy, but always worshipful. We start the morning with coffee, croissants, crafts and play. We have a short worship time together, where we explore the bible together, often using a cartoon to help us find out about God, we worship with contemporary songs lead by our worship band, we use all kinds of interactive ways to help us pray together. It’s creative, chatty and there is always a warm welcome for everyone.
Café Sunday is every third Sunday of the month, at St. Barnabas Church, Albion Street, Kenilworth CV8 2FY, at 10am
Brick Club – Build faith one brick at a time
Brick club is for primary school aged children and their carers, younger siblings welcome. We start with a Bible story before making a model of part of the story from Lego. We pray and play together. It is a lovely, lively community of Children who love Lego and being creative. There is always plenty of toast & jam as well as fruit as the children are hungry after school and plenty of tea and time to chat with new friends for the carer.
Brick club is at St. Barnabas church, Albion street, Kenilworth, CV8 2FY, on Tuesdays, after school until approximately 5pm, term time only
Little Nicks Stay and Play
A fun morning of playing. Each week we have a different range of play activities for babies to preschool children. There is usually a craft, small world play, vehicle play, fine motor skills play and plenty more activities for the children to enjoy whilst you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a slice of homemade cake. We have a song time before getting out the bikes, ride in cars and trikes.
Sometimes we have a special session where we explore a theme, such as a teddy bears picnic to celebrate Harvest.
Little Nicks – held at St. Nicholas Parochial Hall, High Street, Kenilworth CV8 1LZ, 10am – 11.15am every Thursday morning during term time.
