The Parochial Hall was closed after Stay and Play on Thursday 21st December
A gang of Volunteers cleared the piano and chairs from the Hall.
Then, Floor Sand Solutions set to work to replace or repair damaged floorboards. Reclaimed boarding was used to get a good match, unlike the work which was done when the Hall was refurbished in 2011.
Working between Christmas and New Year, the floor was sanded, finishing with a fine Sandpaper. Three coats of two pack industrial lacquer were then applied and buffed. It was left to harden until Wednesday 3rd January when classes recommenced. Hopefully everyone will enjoy the bright clean smooth floor
