The animals were all ready for Cafe Sunday. We had an edible craft, decorated a Christmas tree, made a Lego Nativity. All this along with with Carols, coffee, croissants and racing Santas.
Everyone was welcome for some festive fun and found out about how God sent his son to be born as a baby but how he grew up to become a rescuer.
Congratulations to Bella on winning the sprout competition, she was so pleased to be going home with 131 sprouts. It’s a good thing her family are a fan of the tiny green vegetables, there were a few chocolate ones in there too.
Cafe Sunday will be back on the 21st January, but without the sprouts. We look forward to being back in the new year.
If you have never been to Cafe Sunday it’s an interactive church experience, with children’s crafts, toys, bubbles, as well as coffee, tea and croissants. Don’t worry about kids making a noise it’s actively encouraged. St Barnabas Church is on the corner of Albion Street and Park Hill.
