Cafe Sunday – 18th February
We had a great time at Cafe Sunday. We even got to pray using plasticine. Making life’s essentials. We watched the story of the Good Samaritan before thinking about who is our neighbour and what can we do when our neighbours are in trouble.
As part of our act of worship we are going to be collecting food for the foodbank. As well as signing a petition which calls on all politicians to make a stand and support the introduction of an Essential Guarantee within universal credit system to ensure everyone can afford life’s essentials such as food and bills If you would like to find out more follow the link below.

If you would like to contribute to the foodbank collection you can bring items along to St. Barnabas church where there is a box at the back waiting to be filled.
Cafe Sunday is church for people who can’t sit still. Everyone is welcome to St. Barnabas at 10am when we will be thinking about Lent. We will have pastries, coffee, play, drawing and enjoy a great morning together.
If you have never been to Cafe Sunday it’s an interactive church experience, with children’s crafts, toys, bubbles, as well as coffee, tea and croissants. Don’t worry about kids making a noise it’s actively encouraged. We would love to see you.
