On Sunday 13th June 2010, about three hundred people from different
churches, came together, in the outdoor service, which was based on a
typical Family Service, usually held in church on second Sundays. Music
was led by the choir, singers and instrumentalists and Youth Worker,
Stan Barker read the Bible reading of The Good Samaritan, which was
later humorously acted by Mark Draper and by Tim Wilkes, who dressed in
modern clothes, as the priest, the servant and the Samaritan. Matthew
Draper was the victim, attacked by members of the youth group. Prayers
were led by scouts, the service ending with a blessing from Revd Andrew
Attwood, vicar of St John’s Kenilworth. |
