St Nicholas Church, Kenilworth has a long and well established choral tradition which goes back many years and it is one of the few remaining robed Parish Church Choirs within the local area.
The choir plays an important role in the life of the church by helping to lead Sunday worship, but also aims to provide a stimulating, challenging and enjoyable environment where choir members can develop and realise their potential.
The choir usually sings at 10am Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays and at 6.30pm Choral Evensong on the 2nd and 4th Sunday. There are other special services during Lent, Easter and Christmas when the choir have a more prominent role.
We are a friendly group who enjoy some light hearted moments but who are also supportive of each other in times of need.
If you enjoy singing and would like to join us, we would welcome children from the age of 8 years upwards, and adults for soprano, alto, tenor and bass parts.
Choir practice is on Friday evening at 7.30pm to 8.30pm. For further details and an informal chat, please contact us or speak to the Director of Music, Christopher Beaumont.
