"Reaching out for God with love and encouragement"

Welcome to our website

 Good Friday

On Good Friday, 21st March 2008, we held a family service with children acting out the Easter story, followed by Hot Cross Buns. Afterwards, Churches Together in Kenilworth and Leek Wootton held a service of witness for all ages at Abbey End, which included drama performed by members of Kenilworth Youth for Christ.

After remembering Jesus' death on the cross and the reason why this is a 'Good Friday' the procession of witness to Abbey Fields took place for the planting of the cross and the singing of the hymn, "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" - this was followed by hot drinks at the United Reformed Church.

All members of Churches Together in Kenilworth and Leek Wootton pray that the message of Christ's suffering will bring you strength and peace.  May His rising from the dead bring you hope and joy.
