The Flower Guild decorates the church each week and also for the various Christian festivals.  We also undertake floral work for weddings on request.

Each week a member of the Flower Guild arranges a pedestal at the pulpit to make our church full of life and colour for worshippers and those who visit during the week.

Are you Interested in using your flower arranging skills in the Church either regularly or just occasionally? We are always glad to welcome new members to the Guild; please contact us to find out more.

Sponsorship for something special...

Sometimes a member of the congregation sponsors the pedestal to celebrate a birth, special birthday, an anniversary or as a memorial to someone very dear.  We always do our best to try and make the pedestal very personal to your needs in colour and type of flowers used.  The cost of sponsorship is £20 and an appropriate announcement is put into the News & Notices Sheet for that week.

Should you decide this is something you would like to do, please contact us or speak to Jean Bunce.  However, do give some thought to the following before making contact.

Try to offer a couple of dates, perhaps two weekends either side of the occasion.

What colours and types of flowers would you most prefer.  Are there any flowers you definitely do not want used?

What type of announcement would you like in the News & Notices.  The following is an example quite often used..."The Pulpit Flowers this week are arranged by............and given by..........in memory of..........on the ....anniversary of their wedding day."

We look forward to hearing from you.
