7 September 2008 |

Every so often
on Sundays during the year we will continue to hear stories of how some of
our congregation came to faith. The third of these testimonies will take place on
Sunday 7th September with Roger Frost and the fourth in the series on 21st September. Come
and support those speaking and be encouraged and excited at the many
different and wonderful ways in which God works in our lives.

BACK TO CHURCH
SUNDAY |
28 September 2008 |
|
| |
On Sunday 28th September
thousands of people will be inviting someone special back to church with
them. People lose touch for all sorts of reasons, but millions would
come back with an invitation. The Church Times describes the Back to
Church Sunday as evangelism at its easiest. It’s about being able to say
three phrases: I’m going, it will be good, and would you like to come
too? In late August invitations will be available in church and between
now and then we need to be thinking and praying about who we could
invite. For the person who has not been to church for a few years coming
with someone else make all the difference.
