Easter Day celebrations, Sunday 24th April 2011, started with an Easter Egg hunt before the Family Communion service. Children of all ages enjoyed searching around the churchyard to collect various items before being rewarded with Easter eggs as their prize! 

Afterwards, around 500 people packed themselves into a very full church to sing and shout alleluia's as we celebrated Jesus' resurrection. The service concluded with a celebratory procession from the church to the Abbey Fields for the Easter Egg rolling with a drum and party whistles being blown by all the children. Easter Egg prizes were awarded for those who rolled their boiled eggs the furthest in each age group. Toddlers and adults had just as much fun as each other!
