The Friends of St Nicholas’ and St Barnabas’ Churches are holding their first Annual General Meeting since they were granted autonomy from the PCC in 2016. The meeting will take place in St Nicholas’ Church on Sunday 26th February at 4.30pm, followed by refreshments at 5.30pm and Choral Evensong at 6.30pm, at which the preacher will be the Patron of the Friends, the Right Revd. John Stroyan, Bishop of Warwick. Everyone is invited to join us for the AGM although non-members will not be entitled to vote if the need arises. Amongst other things, we will be formally confirming the constitution, adopting the accounts and electing a new committee of trustees. To find out more about the Friends and/or the AGM, please contact Gill Bausor (852151), Brough Skingley (857686) or Barrie Rogers (779171). We look forward to welcoming you.
