"Reaching out for God with love and encouragement"

Welcome to our website

 Open Air Service

On Sunday 8th June 2008, Churches Together enjoyed a service in the Abbey Fields. The University of Warwick Brass Society and a worship band provided the music for the congregation that had gathered on the site of the old Abbey Church.  Jester Jim the clown illustrated the bible reading with volunteer children. The Scouts lead prayers with balloons being released with each to symbolise our prayers going out to the world around us. The service concluded with the receiving of bread and wine and the singing of more hymns before everyone turned towards the town and prayed for our wider community and each other. The service was followed by a picnic in the glorious sunshine and welcome shade of the trees in Abbey Fields.
